Meeting Information

Pursuant to A.A.C. R4-6-802(C) a licensee may report a maximum of 6 clock hours of continuing education for attendance at a Board or credentialing committee meeting where the licensee does not address the Board or credentialing committee with regard to any matter on the agenda.

If you attend a meeting for continuing education you must sign in with the meeting secretary and be sure to let them know if you leave before the meeting ends.  A CE certificate will be mailed to your address of record.

Board meetings begin at 9:00 a.m. and usually end around 2:00 p.m. on every first Friday.  Beginning in September 2010 the Board will meet on every first Thursday.

Meetings of the Social Work Credentialing Committee (2nd Friday), the Marriage & Family Therapy Credentialing Committee (2nd Wednesday), the Substance Abuse Credentialing Committee (3rd Friday) and the Counseling Credentialing Committee (4th Friday) begin at 9:00 a.m.  Print meeting calendar.

The four Credentialing Committees begin the meetings with disciplinary matters and complete application file reviews at the end.

Agendas (posted approximately one week before each meeting) can be reviewed to get an idea of which meetings may have more interesting or educational matters scheduled.  Review agendas and minutes here.
